Laboratory for specimen preparation with Critical-Point-Dryer and Plasma-Coater with Gold palladium targets. Digitized Amray 1610 Turbo scanning electron microscope with LaB6 cathode, Ion-getter and Turbo-molecular pumps. Detectors: Secondary-electron detector, Semiconductor-detector and Robinson-detector to create images of the various energetic electrons. With the special digitizing system "Win-DISS" from Point-Electronic, all detectors can be scanned simultaneous to get the highest photographic quality. Digital imaging and coloring is done with high-performance Macintosh Computers. Transmission-Electron Microscopy, Computer tomography and X-ray are done in cooperation with several scientific and medical institutes in Germany.
